Kauaeranga Vally - The Pinnacles

First trek done, I am ... tired. I hope I will get into shape fast.
Very different from the ones done in Canada. There was lots of ups and down until the end, which was full of ladders and stairs. Easier than the previous slippery rocks, but still tiring.
Overall, more than 800 meters of climbing and 5 hours walking.
Funny thing, so many French there, again. 2 at the start plus one French Swiss, and then 3 more at the top. The rest was locals and Germans.
Here are the pictures (soon).

Finally, it has begun

6 days spent in Auckland to find a van and leave directly to Thames.
Sunday 18th, I went to Ellerslie car fair and found 3 interesting vans. I saw the third one the next day to do a test drive. I decided to buy it, so the hunt for ATM started in order to get lots of cash and put it on my kiwi bank account. 2000€ limit every 3 days can be really annoying to gather 10000$.
The next week days were spent filling administration papers and doing nothing, for a change ;). I met a few French people in the hostel. There are so many of them at the moment.
On Friday evening, I got the van and directly took the road to Thames and slept at the Sunkist international backpackers. The road in New Zealand is interesting, in only an hour and a half, I saw a dozen birds (or possums?) dead in the middle of the road.
This Saturday morning, I shopped for a few things still missing to equip the van. In the afternoon, I tried to clean it up a bit.
Sleeping test inside should probably happen on Tuesday next week.
